Job Title: Vehicle Paint Sprayer

We are seeking an experienced Vehicle Paint Sprayer to join our team at Clear Automotive Recruitment Solutions Limited.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for painting damaged vehicles to a high standard, using up-to-date water-based paint systems. They will also prepare vehicles for painting, mix and match paint by eye or using computer technology, and apply primer and finishing coats using spray guns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Painting damaged vehicles to a high standard
  • Preparing vehicles for painting
  • Mixing and matching paint by eye or using computer technology
  • Applying primer and finishing coats using spray guns
  • Touching up paintwork and applying polish to vehicles
  • Knowledge of blending paintwork essential
  • Removing masking papers before waxing and polishing finished paintwork
  • Treating vehicles with rust-proofing chemicals
Requirements:
  • Car painting and technical knowledge
  • Experience of the accident repair and bodyshop industry
  • Skills in applying and using knowledge to ensure work is finished to a high standard
  • Must have own spray guns
  • ATA or Level 3 equivalent an advantage
