Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled finance professional to join our Financial Control team at our European Head Office. The Lead Financial Insights Analyst role is pivotal in delivering strategic insights to our Buying and Merchandising teams, which are essential to our off-price business model.
Key Responsibilities
- Enhance our data management practices, utilizing tools such as Alteryx and Power BI to provide actionable insights.
- Conduct scenario analyses on liquidity and open-to-buy positions to identify potential risks and opportunities.
- Engage in regular business partnering with Buying Managers and Directors to support financial objectives.
- Respond to ad hoc requests from senior management and prepare comprehensive presentations on business performance.
- Streamline processes and financial models to improve efficiency and focus on value-added activities.
- Serve as a subject matter expert on the TJX business model, addressing inquiries from Buying and Finance leadership.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Qualified accountant with a strong financial background.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling.
- Strong analytical capabilities with experience in data integration from various sources.
- Ability to convey financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Proven relationship-building skills across all organizational levels.
- Capacity to influence and engage senior management effectively.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to decision-making.
