Job Overview

Sodexo is seeking a skilled Logistics Operator to join our team in Macclesfield. As a key member of our site services team, you will be responsible for various logistics activities, including inventory management, order fulfillment, and transportation logistics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional customer service to colleagues and corporate clients
  • Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of goods
  • Work closely with the loading bay and mail room team to deliver a seamless service
  • Assist with resolving logistics-related issues or discrepancies
  • Perform general deliveries across the site, including waste pickups

Requirements:

  • Certification to drive a forklift truck is a bonus, but not essential
  • Previous experience in a similar role would be beneficial
  • Familiarity with inventory management software and systems, or a willingness to learn
  • Strong customer service skills and a service-oriented attitude
  • A full UK Driving Licence
