We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Activities Coordinator to join our team at HC-One. As an Activities Coordinator, you will play a vital role in planning and implementing engaging activities that promote the well-being and happiness of our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement activity programs that cater to the diverse interests and needs of our residents
- Collaborate with the Home Manager to organize fundraising events and community outreach initiatives
- Provide support and guidance to residents to help them build confidence and social skills
- Work closely with the care home team to ensure seamless delivery of activities and services
- Manage and maintain accurate records of activity programs and resident participation
- Background working with vulnerable individuals, preferably in a care or community setting
- Excellent planning, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and build strong relationships with residents and colleagues
- Basic IT skills and ability to learn new systems
- Compassionate and empathetic approach to working with residents and their families
- Competitive hourly rate, subject to experience and qualifications
