Job Overview

Scorpion Recruitment is seeking skilled HGV Class 1 Transport Operators to join our team. This role is ideal for individuals with a strong background in logistics and transportation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver goods to various retail outlets and distribution hubs.
  • Engage in general freight transportation across the UK.
  • Utilize extensive knowledge of UK road networks to ensure timely deliveries.
Services Provided

Our client specializes in a range of logistics services, including:

  • National distribution services.
  • Consolidated freight solutions.
  • Next-day delivery and container transport.
  • Contract logistics management.
  • Palletized freight handling.
Requirements

Applicants must possess:

  • A clean driving license.
  • A minimum of two years' experience operating HGV Class 1 vehicles.
Compensation

In return for your expertise, we offer:

  • Base pay of £17 per hour for the first 8 hours.
  • Overtime pay of £22 per hour after 8 hours.

This position is temporary but ongoing, with opportunities for regular overtime.
