We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join a large, fast-paced business as a Treasury Assistant. This role will be part of a booming property business that requires a lively, fun, and energetic individual to join their team. The current team is super welcoming and is looking for someone they can rely on while having a great time.

This is a 12-month fixed-term contract to cover a maternity period. We are seeking someone to start quickly to allow the current Treasury Assistant to do a bit of a handover, so please only apply if you are immediately available or on a short notice period.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with managing cash flow on a daily basis
  • Reconciling multiple bank accounts on a daily basis
  • Liaising with both purchase ledger and sales ledger to complete treasury-related tasks
  • Reporting on the cash flow positions to management
  • Managing financial transactions
  • Processing payments to internal and external parties
  • Preparing financial reports, including monthly and quarterly treasury activity reports
  • Implementing financial policies and internal controls
  • Working with banks and financial institutions to ensure compliance with regulations and financial stability
  • Collaborating with IT to establish and maintain treasury technology solutions

Candidate Attributes and Skills:

  • Have previous experience with bank reconciliations as a minimum, but having previously worked in a treasury position would be ideal
  • Be an outgoing, and energetic person who is eager to bring a bit of themselves to the role
  • Be immediately available, or on a short notice period and be able to start work quickly to start working on the handover
