Position Overview
ROLE SUMMARY
An exceptional opportunity awaits a motivated individual to receive professional training from the Chartered Institute for Procurement and Supply (CIPS) while gaining practical experience in procurement and supplier management functions. This position plays a crucial role within the Supplier Management Office (SMO), delivering essential services to various stakeholders within the organization.
Reporting Structure
Reports directly to the Procurement and Supplier Relationship Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the procurement process, including sourcing quotes, purchasing goods and services, generating purchase orders, and overseeing invoice management.
- Track expenditures against budget allocations and provide updates on budgetary status.
- Maintain and update supplier information within relevant databases.
- Compile and present Management Information reports.
- Solicit quotations, procure, and monitor services.
- Ensure compliance with procurement regulations.
- Oversee contract renewals.
- Assist with project-related tasks.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Strong mathematical and English language skills.
