Role Overview:
We are looking for a talented and driven Data Science Analyst to become a vital member of our Regulatory Response Team. In this capacity, you will collaborate closely with the regulatory response unit responsible for planning the implementation of new regulations, making risk-based decisions, managing communications with our sellers, defining product requirements for regulatory compliance, and articulating the business implications to a wider audience within our market organizations. This role presents an exceptional opportunity to engage in high-impact projects that have substantial visibility across various organizational units. Your analytical skills will be crucial in providing insights and supporting regulatory compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Regulatory Business Unit, Go-to-Market teams, Product Partners, Finance, Customer Service, Tax, and Risk teams to gather requirements and deliver insights.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Utilize SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel to extract, analyze, and visualize data to facilitate regulatory reporting and compliance activities.
- Regulatory Compliance: Support the preparation of regulatory reports, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Data Management: Enhance and maintain data management processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
- Project Management: Oversee multiple projects concurrently, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality outcomes.
- Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate findings and insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Process Improvement: Identify and implement enhancements to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of regulatory projects.
Qualifications:
- Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in SQL, Python, Tableau, and Excel.
- Relevant Experience: Proven experience in a similar role.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a knack for interpreting complex data sets.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, capable of presenting data and insights clearly.
- Collaborative Spirit: Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and establish strong partnerships with various stakeholders.
