Senior Configuration Engineer

Certain Advantage is seeking a highly skilled Senior Configuration Engineer to join our team on a 6-month contract. As a Senior Configuration Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting our dynamic team of Configuration specialists across multiple products, packages, and life cycles.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Configuration Manager in managing product definitions and configuration management for minor projects or major parts of projects.
  • Review engineering changes to ensure business processes are applied and approbation controls are adhered to.
  • Provide draft Configuration Management document updates to the project Configuration Manager ahead of review periods.
  • Prepare comprehensive and timely data for Configuration Meetings, including provision of data to Configuration Manager and project team.
  • Ensure control of project design definitions are adhered to across development, production, and in-service phases.
  • Support and guide project areas on applicable Engineering Change methodologies.

Requirements:

  • High level of knowledge regarding principles of Configuration Management and application within a demanding engineering environment.
  • High concern for order and quality.
  • Ability to build rapport with stakeholders and promote Configuration Management group through a supportive and proactive approach.
  • Proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic.
  • High degree of IT literacy.
