About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Actuarial Investment Analyst to join our team at Benefact Group plc. As a key member of our actuarial team, you will play a crucial role in providing expert capital modelling and actuarial advice to support our investment and business decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and calibration of our capital model for investment and market risk, working closely with the Head of Investments.
  • Deliver timely and accurate investment analysis, including capital modelling, to inform our investment strategy.
  • Prepare and present quarterly market risk and Economic Scenario Generator (ESG) updates to our Group Capital Team, reflecting changes in our investment risk profile and economic conditions.
  • Develop and maintain market risk and ESG documentation, including model output analysis, calibration, and methodology.
  • Design solutions to address model weaknesses and limitations, ensuring our capital model remains robust and effective.
  • Collaborate with our actuarial teams, finance, and ESG provider to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Degree in a math-based subject, with 6+ actuarial exams achieved.
  • Relevant experience in an actuarial role, with a strong understanding of capital modelling and investment risk.
  • Excellent commercial judgement and ability to design practical solutions.
  • Proven ability to engage with and challenge the business, with a willingness to get out and about.
