Key Responsibilities:
As a Communications and Engagement Graduate Trainee, you will be instrumental in:
1. Supporting the planning, development, and execution of both internal and external communication initiatives across various platforms.
2. Assisting with administrative tasks and the implementation of strategies that align with team and organizational goals.
3. Gaining practical experience in content creation, social media management, public relations, patient insights, and event coordination.
4. Ensuring the smooth operation of daily activities, enhancing processes, and delivering high-quality outputs.
Professional Development:
This internship offers a valuable entry point into the communications and patient advocacy sectors within the pharmaceutical industry. You will gain extensive experience and exposure to multiple business areas, equipping you with essential skills for a successful career where science intersects with hope.
Content Creation:
Responsibilities include:
- Crafting engaging and informative content for diverse channels, including social media, websites, blogs, and newsletters.
- Collaborating with the communications team to devise and implement social media strategies aimed at boosting engagement.
- Coordinating events such as town halls, managing production teams, liaising with agencies, and overseeing the review and approval processes for materials.
- Maintaining consistency and alignment of communications with the organizational brand.
- Developing and managing the internal communications calendar and news flow.
- Engaging with the wider organization to source content for internal communication channels.
Communication Skills:
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills are essential, with the ability to convey information clearly and persuasively to various audiences, both internal and external.
Additional Qualifications:
- A passion for Healthcare/Life Sciences is advantageous.
- Ability to perform effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality work and professionalism.
Analytical Skills:
Capability to interpret complex issues and articulate them through written and verbal communication.
Project Management:
Support in ensuring timely delivery of projects.
Note:
This position is based in London, and while hybrid working is supported, a minimum of three days per week in the office is expected.
For the duration of your contract, you will be employed by SRG, acting as the recruitment agency for this role.
