Junior Sous Chef Opportunity

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Junior Sous Chef to join our team at Kimpton Blythswood Square Hotel. As a key member of our culinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

About the Role

As a Junior Sous Chef, you will be responsible for supporting the Head Chef in the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards and that our guests receive outstanding service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Head Chef in the preparation and presentation of food
  • Ensure that all kitchen operations are running smoothly and efficiently
  • Train and develop junior members of the team
  • Contribute to the development of new menu ideas and concepts
Requirements
  • Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie in a similar environment
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
