About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi-Skilled Joiner to join our team at The Guinness Partnership. As a key member of our Empty Homes Team, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs and maintenance work on our properties in Crewe, Cheshire, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out repairs and maintenance work on properties, including joinery and plumbing tasks
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, using your own initiative and problem-solving skills
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Work safely, following all relevant health and safety procedures and guidelines
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, as required
Requirements
  • Full, clean current driving licence (held for at least 1 year)
  • NVQ Level 3 (City & Guilds) Trade Qualification in Joinery/Plumbing or equivalent recognised competency
  • Demonstrable competence in joinery and plumbing trades, with experience of working in a customer-focused environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Ability to work methodically, follow procedures, and accurately record data and information
What We Offer
  • A competitive salary of £36,088 per annum, plus a £1,000 welcome bonus
  • A permanent, full-time contract, working 39 hours per week, Monday to Friday
