Job Title: Solar Project Development Engineer

CS Energy is seeking a highly skilled Solar Project Development Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for evaluating, analyzing, and designing in-house development projects to ensure high-quality and efficient solar PV projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate prospective sites for solar projects and analyze existing internal or 3rd party PV designs
  • Design and layout solar PV systems to optimize project financial returns
  • Interconnect design and equipment selection
  • Energy production analysis and participating in meetings with project stakeholders
  • Originating and implementing creative and innovative engineering, equipment, and technical solutions to overcome development challenges
Requirements:
  • 4-year degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical preferred)
  • 4 or more years solar PV design, design/build, or EPC field experience
  • Experience in electrical interconnection design & coordination (LV & MV)
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and PVSYST
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
