About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at ASC Connections Ltd. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks and respond to plant breakdowns to minimize downtime and ensure continuity of production.
  • Ensure the safety, security, and integrity of all plant, equipment, facilities, and processes.
  • Work closely with our maintenance management system to optimize maintenance schedules and reduce costs.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facility, grounds, and equipment to identify potential issues and implement preventative measures.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance manager to develop and implement maintenance plans and strategies.
  • Assist with the fabrication and manufacture of components for maintenance repairs.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements
  • City & Guilds Qualified Mechanical Engineer or similar qualification.
  • Prior experience in a manufacturing industry setting.
  • Basic knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • High degree of self-motivation and ability to work independently.
  • Valid driving license.
