Culinary Specialist for Educational Institutions

We are seeking a dedicated Culinary Specialist to join our team at Chartwells on a part-time basis, with a commitment of 25 hours per week. In this position, you will be tasked with crafting and serving meals that enhance the dining experience for our clients and customers, all within the UK's leading food service organization. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare high-quality, appetizing meals that satisfy our clients and customers
- Manage and implement menu modifications
- Identify areas for enhancement in our food services
- Act on customer feedback to continually refine our offerings
- Assist in the development of new menus and innovative food concepts
- Represent Chartwells positively and uphold our brand image
- Monitor stock levels to ensure our kitchens are well-equipped
- Oversee kitchen sanitation to maintain hygiene standards
- Adhere to Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
- Passionate about delivering exceptional food and customer service
- Holds a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
- Experienced in supervising a culinary team
- Background in a similar culinary role
- Possesses a Food Hygiene certificate
- Flexible in approach to work
