Job Summary

The United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our busy Radiotherapy Department as a Radiotherapy Assistant. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic team, providing high-quality care to patients undergoing radiotherapy treatment.

Main Responsibilities
  • Assist radiographers in carrying out portering and other non-radiographic tasks as directed by the Superintendent Radiographer.
  • Support the Quality Manager in providing efficient admin support and assisting in achieving ISO 9001 validation.
  • Assist the research radiographer in checking the radiotherapy dataset.
  • Provide cover for colleagues in their absence to maintain service levels.

Person Specification
  • Essential:
    • 4 GCSEs at C or equivalent with English Grade C or equivalent.
    • Typing and/or Word/Text Processing Skills.
  • Desirable:
    • NVQ Level II in Health Care or equivalent.
    • Business Admin NVQ II or equivalent NVQ.
