About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled People Consultant to join our Royal London People Leader Advisory team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will provide expert advice and guidance to People Leaders across the organization on a range of people-related matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the development and implementation of people policies, assessing their effectiveness and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Provide specialist advisory services to People Leaders on employment law, employee relations, and organizational development.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build capability and manage cases effectively, using expertise in employment legislation and people policies.
  • Champion the People Team operating model and contribute to the overall Leader Advisory Service (Tier 2) to enable People Leaders to fulfill their responsibilities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Sound technical skills in employment legislation and people policies.
  • Ability to evidence depth of expertise and technical skills in employee relations case management.
  • Effective consultancy skills and ability to provide advice, guidance, support, and challenge across a broad range of generalist areas.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
