About EVEREC:

EVEREC is a leading company in the restoration of iconic cars, transforming them into electric vehicles. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Control Systems Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and implementation of control systems for Low Voltage (LV) and High Voltage (HV) applications.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and Develop Model-Based Software: Utilize Simulink to create and implement model-based software solutions for control systems.
  • Implement and Optimize Testing Frameworks: Develop and refine testing frameworks, including Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MIL), to ensure control systems meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Collaborate with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with engineering teams to integrate control systems into electric powertrains and automotive chassis.
  • Perform Hands-On Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct thorough testing and troubleshooting to ensure control systems meet performance and reliability standards.
  • Translate Complex Engineering Issues: Effectively communicate complex engineering issues to stakeholders and provide straightforward, effective solutions.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Control Systems Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in the automotive sector, with a focus on control systems for electric vehicles.
  • Skills: Proficiency in ECU calibration, CAN Bus tools, and software version control; strong grasp of control theory and experience with oscilloscopes for troubleshooting.
  • Authorization: Authorization to work in the UK.
