We are seeking a highly skilled Data Analyst to join our supply chain department at Technical Placements. As a Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in extracting actionable insights from large datasets and driving data-driven decision-making within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Extract and transform complex datasets from multiple Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and flat files using Power BI and Excel.
- Develop and maintain data visualizations to provide insights into spend, supplier performance, and operational performance, including inventory management.
- Support the development of the data lake and warehouse, providing details of backend tables and columns, SQL queries, and transformation required.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply business intelligence tools and aggregations/formulas to the reporting layer.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Science, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in data preparation and data visualization.
- Familiarity with data integration, ETL processes, and data warehousing concepts.
- Excellent Power BI and Excel skills.
- Knowledge of commercial master data and procurement documentation in an ERP environment.
