Nursery Practitioner Opportunity

We are seeking a qualified and passionate Nursery Practitioner to join our team at Seed Recruitment Consultants ltd.

About the Role:

  • Contribute to a programme of activities suitable to the age range of children in your area, in conjunction with other staff.
  • Support all staff and engage in a good staff team.
  • Liaise with and support parents and other family members.
  • Attend out of working hours activities, such as training, staff meetings, and parent's evenings.
  • Be flexible within working practices of the Nursery.
  • Undertake certain domestic jobs within the Nursery, such as preparation of snack meals and cleansing of equipment.
  • Work alongside the manager and staff team to ensure that the philosophy behind the project is fulfilled.
  • Record accidents in the accident book.
  • Prepare and complete activities to suit the child's stage of development.
  • Ensure mealtimes are a time of pleasant social sharing.
  • Wash and change children as required.
  • Provide comfort and warmth to a poorly child.
  • Ensure the provision of a high-quality environment to meet the needs of individual children from differing cultures and religious backgrounds, and stages of development.
  • Be aware of the high profile of the Nursery and uphold its standards at all times.

  • Level 3 qualified or willing to pursue a career in childcare
