Transport Planner Role

Sunblink Ltd-GRN is seeking a skilled Transport Planner to join their team. As a Transport Planner, you will play a crucial role in overseeing daily and weekly work schedules and routing, ensuring efficient operations and exceeding customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily and weekly work schedules and routing to optimize transportation operations
  • Accommodate additional customer orders efficiently, ensuring timely delivery and high customer satisfaction
  • Oversee driver and vehicle compliance, training, and development to maintain a safe and efficient fleet
  • Ensure operations are carried out in accordance with legal, environmental, and company policies
  • Collaborate with the Fleet Maintenance team to ensure vehicles are properly maintained
  • Work a standard Monday to Friday schedule with occasional weekend cover

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in logistics or a related field
  • Excellent customer service skills to interact with customers, drivers, and third parties
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
