We are currently offering various Catering Assistant positions with the option for both part-time and full-time schedules. Our roles allow you to choose the number of shifts that fit your lifestyle.
Working Hours
At Constellation Careers, we optimize the work schedules of our employees, providing access to over 5,000 venues across the UK. Currently, we have shifts available from Friday to Monday and Tuesday to Thursday. Candidates must be available for at least one of these blocks as per client requirements. Previous experience in cold food preparation is essential, and candidates must possess black safety shoes and a valid Food Hygiene Certificate.
Main Responsibilities for Catering Assistants
- Maintain a polite, prompt, and friendly demeanor towards all colleagues and guests.
- Ensure effective communication with guests and team members to facilitate smooth service delivery.
- Follow guidance and procedures from the lead chef or room manager to maximize team efficiency.
- Take pride in your work and adhere to the agreed standards with your colleagues.
- Actively pursue opportunities to enhance your knowledge and skills, contributing to personal growth.
- Comply with all company policies regarding Health & Safety, Food Safety, Allergens, Hygiene, Manual Handling, and COSHH.
- Demonstrate personal responsibility for your own health and safety.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Enjoy your work and maintain a positive attitude.
