Job Description

Job Title: Financial Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Manager to join our team at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the financial planning and management of our Care Group/Corporate areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning: Develop and implement financial plans that align with the Trust's strategic objectives.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present accurate and timely financial reports to senior management and the Executive Leadership Team.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of finance professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality financial services.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all financial activities are in compliance with Trust policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Possess a Professional accounting qualification (CCAB or equivalent).
  • Experience: A minimum of 2 years post CCAB or equivalent experience, with knowledge of NHS finance and business planning regimes.
  • Skills: Ability to problem solve and find solutions, possess numerical and analytical skills, and have the ability to assimilate and interpret data to make resultant judgments.
