Location: Weybridge

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (Dependent on Experience) + discretionary bonus

Role Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the estimation process for a diverse range of roofing services including maintenance, flat and pitched roofing, refurbishment, and carpentry.
  • Analyze tender requests to fully understand project specifications.
  • Engage with clients to gather any necessary additional information.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to secure competitive pricing.
  • Prepare and present formal quotations to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of tenders and quotations within the internal database.
  • Develop and sustain relationships with contractors and suppliers.
  • Manage workload effectively to meet project deadlines.
  • Estimate project costs for assignments ranging from £50,000 to £1,000,000.

Candidate Requirements:

  • Proven experience in roofing estimation, particularly in roof tiling, flat roofing, carpentry, and lead work.
  • Familiarity with estimating software such as Blue Beam or STACK.
  • Strong knowledge of roofing and construction regulations.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Robust numerical aptitude.
  • Proficient in IT, especially Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills.
  • Confident and articulate communicator.
