About the Role

Mace is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Consultancy Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our consult business, you will play a crucial role in delivering cost management services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare contract documents, warranties, bonds, and licenses, and assist in their formal execution.
  • Advise on the administration of building contracts and provide valuations of work carried out.
  • Manage cost control and reporting services during the contract and prepare financial reports for clients.
  • Identify costs associated with design changes, contract awards, construction activities, and client charges.
  • Participate in the evaluation of claims for delay and additional costs made by contractors and subcontractors.
  • Advise on the issue of certificates of practical completion and final accounts.
  • Deliver improvements in systems and processes, driving transformational change.
Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience of delivering service excellence to clients.
  • Proven experience in commercial management, including cost and risk management.
  • Sound understanding of costs and timescales of work undertaken and implications of risk of failure to deliver.
  • Proven experience in areas such as risk management and change control management.
  • Understanding of different types of contracts and negotiation skills.
  • Analytical skills and proficiency in specific sector/market of project/role.
  • Relevant technical qualification/certification for project portfolio/s.
