Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Catering Assistant to join our team at Lake View Residential Care Home. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing excellent food and service to our residents, ensuring that every meal is a delight for the senses.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present meals to a high standard, adhering to relevant food hygiene legislation
  • Serve meals to residents, providing excellent customer service and ensuring their needs are met
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to maintain a clean and safe food preparation environment
  • Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Previous catering experience is desirable, but not essential
  • A food hygiene certificate is required
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential
  • A genuine passion for providing excellent care and service to older people is required
