Job Title: Finance Accountant/graduate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Finance Accountant/graduate to join our team at Gardner Aerospace. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the cash management system of the Group, standardizing payment mechanisms and processes, and ensuring efficient management of the company's bank accounts and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Cash Management: Manage the cash management system of the Group, including reconciling bank statements against the GL worldwide and clearing accounts assigned for all sites/HQ with SSC (AP/AR reconciliation).
  • Financial Analysis: Monitor the financial position of the Group weekly, including forecasts and budgets, and conduct interest and debt analysis, providing relevant information and reports.
  • Bank Management: Ensure conformity of company bank accounts with IFR Standards and oversee hedging requests with Group bank HSBC.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including cash flow statements and balance sheets.
  • Team Management: Manage a team of financial professionals, assigning duties and ensuring effective team performance.

Requirements:

  • Education: BSc in Accounting or Banking.
  • Experience: At least one year of experience in banking, trading, or treasury is an advantage.
  • Skills: Proficiency in communicating with management and staff, ability to assign duties and manage a team effectively, self-motivated individual with effective organizational skills, and ability to undertake multiple tasks simultaneously without losing focus.
