Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant to join our team at Get Recruited (UK) Ltd. The successful candidate will assist the Finance Manager in preparing monthly management accounts, reconciliations, and budgeting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis and commentary.
- Reconcile the balance sheet, investigating and resolving any differences.
- Produce commentary for the figures, analyzing and investigating variances and trends.
- Assist with annual budgeting and quarterly reviews.
- Process monthly payroll, expenses, and associated duties and reconciliations.
- Assist with VAT reconciliation.
- Process purchase and sales ledger invoices.
- Income Reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of statutory accounts and the associated annual audit.
- Provide ad hoc support, analysis, and partnering to non-finance colleagues.
- Deputise for the Finance Manager as and when required.
Requirements:
- AAT Level 3 or above, or Qualified by Experience or Part CIMA / ACCA qualified.
- Experience in an Assistant Management Accountant role, or Management Accountant or Finance Manager level.
- Experience in assisting with Month End / Management Accounts or end-to-end management accounts process.
- Strong Excel skills, including formulas, lookups, and pivot tables.
- Experience with double-entry bookkeeping.
- Experience with Sage would be an advantage.
