Job Title: Advanced PSV Technician

At Transport UK London, we're committed to delivering exceptional bus services across London. We're seeking a skilled and innovative Advanced PSV Technician to join our Engineering team at Twickenham Depot.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out repairs, inspections, and maintenance of our public service fleet vehicles.
  • Investigate, diagnose, and record modern vehicle mechanical and electronic faults.
  • Work independently and collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals.
  • Clearly document faults and rectification work conducted in detail using electronic tablets.
  • Confidently use modern technical computer systems for fleet management.
  • Read and interpret instructions and service manuals.
  • Maintain a duty of care for the health and safety of yourself and colleagues at all times.
  • Follow safety instructions and report unsafe acts or omissions.
Requirements:
  • Hold qualifications for maintenance and repair of public service vehicles or heavy goods vehicles to a minimum of NVQ level 3 or City and Guilds.
  • Hold a current PSV Licence.
  • Have current recognised qualifications in hybrid awareness and hybrid fault diagnostics.
  • Hold current IRTEC in-service maintenance technician, inspection technician, and advanced technician qualifications.
  • Have good literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Be able to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with colleagues.
  • Be punctual and meet deadlines, working flexibly when required.
  • Be prepared to undertake training as seen fit by the Service Manager.
