About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Kotlin Engineer to join our team at a large financial institution. As a key member of our globally located scrum team, you will be responsible for developing and designing a solution for our mobile application service layer (backend for frontend) with millions of users worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with your team to understand stories and requirements to develop and design a solution.
- Identify underlying APIs or systems to retrieve or post information.
- Develop web services to consume information and create a curated response for iOS and Android development.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to ensure successful project delivery.
Requirements
- Professional development experience in an Agile, enterprise environment.
- Experience with back-end development, specifically Java.
- Experience with Kotlin programming language.
- Development experience in building server-side applications.
- Hands-on experience with Microservices.
- Experience with REST APIs.
- Hands-on professional experience developing web services.
- Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
