Senior Quantity Surveyor

Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their Chelmsford office. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of multiple schemes from inception to completion, ensuring successful outcomes for clients. Your expertise will be invaluable in expanding professional Quantity Surveying services, working closely with an experienced and high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities- Manage schemes from inception to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
- Liaise with clients to understand their needs and provide exceptional service.
- Mentor junior members of staff, providing APC support and guidance.
- Contribute to the growth and development of the team, sharing your expertise and knowledge.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with a strong track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- MRICS status is preferred, although not essential.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances.
