Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Analog Field Application Engineer to join our Regional Sales & Distribution Team in the UK. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in driving opportunities, discovering new prospects, and securing design wins for Renesas products, specifically Analog and Power solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and current customers, closely collaborating with sales teams to drive business growth.
  • Ensure design victories by actively supporting customer projects, providing technical expertise and guidance as needed.
  • Build and maintain relationships with technical decision makers at customer sites, showcasing and supporting the Renesas product line.
  • Conduct training sessions for distribution partners, business development managers, and field application engineers to enhance their knowledge and skills.
  • Operate in a global business setting, interacting regularly with teams from the US, EMEA, and Asia.
  • Travel within the region to provide customer and partner support, ensuring seamless execution of business objectives.
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant degree with at least 1-2 years of experience in field application engineering within the semiconductor industry.
  • Proficiency in providing technical and project support for Analog and Power technologies, with expertise in MCU/MPU and connectivity.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to blend strong technical expertise with effective relationship building and account management.
  • Self-driven team player capable of following directions, managing multiple tasks concurrently, and communicating efficiently.
  • Sound business knowledge and the ability to execute strategic objectives.
  • Proficient in both native language and English.
