Job Description

Job Title: Sales Representative - Packaging

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Sales Representative to join our team at Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD. As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for expanding our customer base and driving sales growth in the packaging industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Hit/exceed annual sales targets set by the board and within allocated territory
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships and expand customer base
  • Meet and partner with customers to understand their business needs and objectives
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition via face-to-face visits/presentations
  • Prepare quotations, sales proposals and presentations
  • Manage the sales process from sale through to delivery
  • Expense control
  • Coordinating with marketing on lead generation
  • Promoting the organisation and our products
  • Attending exhibitions

Requirements:

  • Proven sales experience in meeting or exceeding targets of £1milion plus
  • Proven high closing rate and the ability to manage the sale to completion
  • Previous experience as a sales executive, sales manager or similar sales and marketing role is ideal
  • Ability to drive the sales process from beginning to close
  • Natural ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Strong engineering background preferable
  • Experience with, or previous exposure to sales KPI's and strategic sales planning is ideal
  • Business or Engineering related experience/background

Benefits:

  • £50,000- £65,000 basic salary + bonus scheme
  • Remote working is available from within the sales area advertised and provided the salesperson can travel/commute to the HQ as and when required
  • Operating from 35 hours per week (flexibility will be expected in order to meet deadlines/for travel reasons)
  • Salary negotiable depending on experience with Company car
  • 8% company pension contribution and generous holiday entitlement
  • Annual pay review with performance related bonus
