About the Role
As an Outpatient Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive nursing care to patients within our outpatient services. You will be responsible for:
- Assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence-based nursing care for a diverse group of patients.
- Maintaining high standards of nursing practice and contributing to the overall quality of care.
- Acting as a clinical mentor for nursing students and new staff, fostering a supportive learning environment.
- Managing specific outpatient clinic areas and ensuring efficient operations.
- Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to enhance patient care delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individualized care while respecting patient privacy and cultural diversity.
- Document patient information accurately and maintain up-to-date nursing records.
- Respond promptly to urgent and emergency situations, prioritizing patient safety.
- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures as per established protocols.
- Support the emotional well-being of patients, offering comfort and assistance as needed.
Qualifications
- Registered Nurse with current NMC registration.
- Experience in an outpatient setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
