Overview:
Are you a skilled Industrial Electrical Technician seeking a role with a reputable, global manufacturing leader? This position has arisen due to the upcoming retirement of a long-standing employee, presenting a rare opportunity to join a company known for its employee retention and stability.

Qualifications:
- Formal Engineering qualification, NVQ level 3 or higher, with a minimum of five years' experience in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines.
- Completion of an apprenticeship in Electrical Engineering, preferably within a manufacturing context.
- Proven experience in applying engineering principles to conduct root cause analysis.
- Familiarity with basic welding techniques.

Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Engineering team to achieve the goal of zero breakdowns.
- Execute planned maintenance tasks independently to optimize machinery uptime and minimize production disruptions.
- Provide support for reactive maintenance tasks proactively, ensuring minimal manufacturing downtime.
- Work on electrical installations up to 440V, including process safety circuits and electrical control circuits, adhering to relevant health and safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough fault diagnosis using both mechanical and electrical root cause analysis to identify issues and implement solutions.
