Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Junior Quantity Surveyor. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for administering contracts, providing commercial advice, and ensuring project timelines are met.
Key Responsibilities- Contract Administration: Manage existing contracts, including performing, issuing, or managing as required by the Commercial Manager.
- Commercial Advice: Provide expert guidance to Contract Leads on commercial matters.
- Project Coordination: Ensure all contract timescales are met by the project team, utilizing CEMAR for effective management.
- Communication: Facilitate general communications under the contract.
- Support: Assist in weekly and monthly project/contract progress meetings.
- Client Liaison: Liaise with the Client commercial team for queries and Learning from Experience.
- Collaboration: Interface with Contract Leads, Finance, Cost engineering, and project controls functions as required.
- Client Relations: Interface with Client Commercial and Project Managers as required.
- Experience: Strong NEC contract administration experience, preferably NEC4 Professional Service Contracts.
- Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Excel to an intermediate level.
- Qualification: Ideally degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying.
- Accuracy: Working to high levels of accuracy and contract compliance.
- Pension Scheme: 8% company contribution / 4% personal contribution.
- Annual Leave: 25 days' paid annual leave + bank holidays + option to buy or sell days.
- Professional Fees: Reimbursed.
