Drainage Specialist

Our client, a leading UK-based engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to join their team of flood risk and drainage specialists in Manchester.
The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in a relevant discipline and be close to achieving Chartered status. They will have experience working for a UK-based consultancy specializing in flood risk, drainage, and development infrastructure.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing projects, mentoring and training team members, and developing new business opportunities across the North West. They will work closely with the existing technical team to deliver projects, coordinate project development, and ensure the highest standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Reviewing and amending flood risk assessments for planning applications, drainage strategies, designs, and hydraulic modelling.
- Project management and team leadership.
- Developing surface water management plans.
- Creating drainage strategies.
