Senior Project Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Project Manager to join our team at Salt. As a Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading and managing projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project success.
- Plan, coordinate, and execute projects, including developing project scope, objectives, and timelines.
- Capture and understand client business needs and translate them into workable solutions.
- Manage project finances, tracking hours versus spend and aggregating monthly invoices for the client.
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and manage issues to minimize impact.
- Coordinate and motivate project teams to ensure everyone is working towards the same goal.
- Ensure adherence to timelines by holding contributors to account.
- Manage project documentation, including creating and maintaining comprehensive project documentation.
- Conduct after-action reviews to identify opportunities for improvement and provide insights and learnings to the Delivery Director.
- Substantial project management experience, preferably within e-commerce projects.
- Experience of working in a formal project environment using various methodologies, such as Waterfall, Prince 2, or Agile SCRUM.
- Solid understanding of e-commerce business practices and technical background, with a good understanding of software development practices and the development lifecycle.
- A competitive day rate of £300-£400 (outside IR35).
- A 6-month contract with the possibility of extension.
