Job Title: Workshop Plant Fitter

We are seeking a skilled Workshop Plant Fitter to join our client's team in Birmingham. As a Workshop Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for diagnosing faults and repairing/maintaining a variety of plant equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose faults and repair/maintain plant equipment, including compressors, mini-excavators, dumpers, and small tools.
  • Check and tag all equipment, and update service records.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and full range of accessories.
  • Complete all test certificates and associated paperwork.
  • Abide by customer Health & Safety rules when on site.
  • Keep the workshop organised, clean, and tidy, and assist with general workshop duties as required.
Requirements:
  • Worked in a similar workshop/field-based environment.
  • A relevant mechanical/electrical qualification.
  • A solid knowledge and understanding of plant equipment or mechanically minded.
  • A strong eye for detail.
