About the Role

As the Marketing Manager, you will play a crucial role in our marketing delivery. You will take ownership of planning and executing impactful campaigns that build awareness and create demand through relevant marketing channels. This role will have a strong focus on results, lead nurturing, and encompasses all aspects of the marketing mix.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging content for use across a wide range of channels, including digital marketing, blogs, websites, events, and marketing materials.
  • Marketing Strategy: Plan marketing communication strategies to meet our marketing targets and liaise with all members of the team to ensure effective and efficient cross-channel delivery.
  • Results Analysis: Analyze the results of all marketing activity, including monitoring lead and conversion performance, and present findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Social Media Management: Take the lead to effectively manage and grow our social media presence effectively and appropriately.
  • Event Support: Support on a wide range of external and internal events.
  • Marketing Collateral: Develop offline marketing collateral, such as leaflets, brochures, and promotional items.
  • Artwork and Design: Assist with the production of artwork, sourcing images, and taglines.
  • Research and Development: Undertake research projects to make the Meridian Group's marketing efforts more effective, engaging, and visually appealing.
  • Internal Communications: Take ownership of internal communications initiatives, keeping colleagues up-to-date, and delivering key communications and events in line with specified dates.
  • B2B Marketing: Lead on the delivery of the Meridian Group's B2B marketing efforts.

Required Skills:

  • 4+ years' previous experience in a marketing or similar role.
  • Impeccable written and verbal communications, with the ability to produce high-quality copy and proofread for errors.
  • A good eye for creative design.
  • Social media knowledge and experience.
  • Experience of email marketing packages (e.g., Mailchimp).
  • Experience in coordinating and running events.
  • Experience of working with data and reports.
  • Highly organized and great time management.
  • Self-motivation with a strong drive for success.
  • Interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with stakeholders across different levels of the business.
  • Team player and passionate about working collaboratively.

Preferred Skills:

  • Financial services experience would be advantageous but is not a prerequisite.
  • Experience of working within a wider group that offers a range of products and services.
  • An understanding of wider digital channels and tools.
