We are seeking a skilled and experienced Higher-Level Teaching Assistant to join our team at Langley/Southall School.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the teaching and learning of students with moderate and complex learning difficulties, including those with autistic spectrum conditions.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Guiding and leading young people in a supportive and inclusive environment
  • Working with children with special needs to promote their educational and personal development
  • Developing and implementing strategies to support students with complex needs
  • Collaborating with teachers and other support staff to ensure effective learning and teaching
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience working with children with special needs
  • Confidence and competence in guiding and leading young people
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A good understanding of Child Protection policies and procedures
