Responsibilities:
  • Project Leadership: Oversee all aspects of assigned projects, from planning and execution to completion, guaranteeing adherence to client specifications and contractual obligations.
  • Resource Management: Effectively allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, equipment, materials, and subcontractors, optimizing efficiency and productivity.
  • Financial Oversight: Collaborate closely with the Quantity Surveyor to ensure projects remain financially viable, maximizing profitability while adhering to budgetary constraints.
  • Client Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, fostering strong relationships built on trust, communication, and responsiveness. Address client concerns promptly and effectively, ensuring their satisfaction throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and ensure project success.
  • Health & Safety Compliance: Implement and enforce strict health and safety protocols on all projects, creating a safe working environment for all personnel.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as a Contracts Manager within the civil engineering sector.
  • A strong track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in relevant software applications.
