Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Clinical Expertise
    • Provide clinical leadership and expertise to our mental health teams, ensuring that our patients receive the highest standard of care.
    • Develop and implement clinical policies and procedures to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
  • Service Development and Improvement
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of service improvement initiatives, ensuring that our services are responsive to the needs of our patients and communities.
    • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement new services and programs.
  • Education and Training
    • Provide educational and training opportunities for junior doctors and other healthcare professionals, ensuring that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide high-quality care.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of educational programs and materials.
  • Research and Quality Improvement
    • Contribute to research and quality improvement initiatives, ensuring that our services are evidence-based and responsive to the needs of our patients.
    • Develop and implement quality improvement projects to improve patient outcomes and service delivery.
Requirements
  • Qualifications
    • MB BS or equivalent medical qualification.
    • MRCPsych or equivalent.
  • Experience
    • At least 5 years of experience as a Consultant Psychiatrist in a mental health setting.
    • Experience of leading and managing mental health teams.
  • Skills and Knowledge
    • Excellent clinical skills and knowledge in psychiatry.
    • Excellent leadership and management skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
