Senior Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Patient Flow Coordinator to join our team at West London NHS Trust. As a key member of our Patient Flow Service, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth running of our services and contributing to the delivery of high-quality patient care.
Main Responsibilities- Contribute to the development and implementation of patient flow strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
- Work closely with the Patient Flow Service Manager, Bed Managers, and Patient Flow Coordinators to coordinate and manage all administration processes and operational issues.
- Provide supervision and support to Patient Flow Coordinators, including recruitment, selection, workload allocation, performance management, PDRs, absences, and cover arrangements.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including patients, families, carers, and healthcare professionals.
- Contribute to the induction, support, and guidance of new starters, ensuring they receive a comprehensive welcome and orientation to the Trust.
- Diploma in administration, business, or management (or significant experience in an administrative role).
- Recent experience of working in a mental health or social care setting, preferably in an inpatient hospital setting or community.
- Highly competent user of MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email, and internet.
- Experience of using large databases, arranging bookings for meetings and workshops, diary management, and taking/transcribing minutes.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a Multi-Disciplinary Team, using initiative and problem-solving skills to improve office systems and procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and influence a range of individuals.
