Senior BMS Engineer Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior BMS Engineer to join our team at Johnson Controls. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing cutting-edge Building Management Systems (BMS) using JCI Metasys, EasyIO, and the Niagara Framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, manage installations, and provide progress updates.
  • Lead testing, commissioning, and final inspections, ensuring BMS functionality and performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues, ensuring seamless project handovers.
  • Ensure proper documentation and compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering (or equivalent).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with BMS programming, installation, commissioning, and servicing.
  • Proficiency with JCI Metasys, EasyIO, and the Niagara Framework.
  • Strong technical aptitude with BMS systems and protocols (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, TCP/IP).
  • Experience managing BMS projects from start to finish.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
