Teaching Assistant - Additional Learning Needs

We are seeking enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join our dedicated team at Teaching Personnel. The ideal candidates will play a vital role in supporting our teachers and providing assistance to our students, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to thrive.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of our students.
  • Support individual students or small groups, helping to enhance their learning experience and promote academic success.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages collaboration and respect among students and staff.
  • Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and contributing to the development of individualized learning plans.
  • Help with classroom management and organization, ensuring a smooth and efficient learning environment.
  • Collaborate with staff to implement tailored support for students with additional needs, promoting their social, emotional, and academic growth.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help students succeed, with a commitment to safeguarding and promoting their welfare.
  • Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) are desirable but not essential.
