**About the Role**
FRS Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Manager to join their team. As a key member of the finance function, you will be responsible for providing strategic financial guidance and support to the business.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Partner with departmental leaders to develop and implement a five-year financial plan for the division.
- Collaborate with commercial teams to analyze projects, prepare and present rolling two-year profit and loss and cash flow forecasts.
- Conduct viability, sales, and margin analysis on forward land bank profit projections and provide key performance indicators (KPIs) to manage current and future projects.
- Liaise with commercial teams to ensure accurate risk profiles are managed within current projects.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings to ensure sales and completions are being met, analyze price variances and discounts, and apply sales increases based on market and site statistics.
- Partner with other departments to identify and monitor risks.
- Manage and consolidate monthly management accounts, providing commentary on variances in half and full-year results.
- Review accounts to forecast and budget, ensuring sub-ledgers are managed, controlled, and closed correctly for month-end processing.
- Perform full reconciliations of profit and loss and balance sheets.
- Review and approve divisional payroll.
- Produce monthly and yearly board reports.
- Update the group with cash forecasts and advise on significant cash movements.
- Deputize for the Finance Director and Line Manager, overseeing four staff members within the finance team.
**Requirements**
- Formal qualification in accounting (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) with previous PQE experience in a similar senior/leadership position.
- Prior experience in the House Building/Construction industry is highly desirable.
- Strong stakeholder engagement and business partnering skills, with the ability to work with leaders across the business.
