About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and proactive Teaching Assistant to work in a Primary School in the centre of Cardiff. The ideal candidate will be confident working with children of varied needs and abilities and general classroom support will be required.

The position will be full-time, working alongside a year 2 class. The successful candidate will be able to adapt in the classroom and provide support to suit the child's individual needs.

Main Duties
  • Providing general classroom support for the teacher and supporting all class children.
  • Working on a 1:1 basis and supporting individual needs of the children.
  • Being confident completing intervention work on an individual basis or within small groups.
  • Ability to build professional relationships with children, staff, and parents in the school.
About the School

The school is a two-form entry school based in the centre of Cardiff. The school is looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their friendly team who will bring a positive attitude to the class.

You will receive continuous support and feedback, and the school will always be open to hearing new ideas and feedback.
