Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Risk Consultant to join our team at Willis Towers Watson. As a Business Risk Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping our clients navigate the complexities of business interruption risk exposures and policy coverage.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide risk management advisory guidance to clients to establish the extent of their business interruption policy coverage needs.
- Model and understand complex financial information to inform risk management decisions.
- Scope, propose, and deliver commercial consulting services to clients in a large multinational professional services firm.
Post-Loss Responsibilities
When a major property damage and business interruption loss occurs, you will work as part of a team to provide claims consultancy to support the client through the complexities of policy coverage, technical support, and presentation.
You will analyze data and trends, work with the client to obtain necessary information, and present the claim in the best possible way to secure a fair claims settlement in accordance with the policy coverage available.
You will establish and manage the claim with clear terms of reference for the delivery of forensic accounting services. You will work with other members of the Major Loss practice, the Loss Management team, and client service team to introduce the proposition and secure the appointment from the client to prepare and present their claim to insurers.
Requirements
- At least five years' post-qualification experience in claims management and/or business continuity.
- Good understanding of company strategy, operating environment, and business objectives.
- Strong analytical skills and high levels of business and financial acumen.
